ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Born in a small native American town called Owosso, Michigan, Aaron was the third
child in what would be a litter of five. Studying the laws of physics at
an early age, a fall down the basement steps contributed to Aaron's large,
swollen head and stunning artistic ability.
After excelling through grade school as "the kid who could draw",
his family moved to Ohio when he was fourteen, where he was soon known as
"the kid with the big head who could draw." A title he could live with,
Aaron continued with his art, concentrating on technique rather than meaning;
photo-realism rather than expression.
Fascinated with the new computer generated films and realizing
the unlikeliness of a financial future as a student of the fine arts, Aaron
decided to look for a college with a good computer art program. He eventually
found Bowling Green State University, where he was involved
in various organizations including president of the computer art club. Aaron
manages to find time for his art, still practicing technique rather than
meaning but with more of a stylized edge.
Now married to his high school
sweetheart and settled in New York, Aaron works at Blue Sky Studios as a
character animator. He's contributed to such amazing classics as Robots,
Ice Age 2, and the upcoming sensation, Horton.
